One good option is frozen vegetables, assuming you have a freezer available. Frozen vegetables maintain much of the nutritional value they offer when fresh, and they last a very long time. You might not get quite the same great taste from a frozen veggie, but it’s far better than many of the packaged foods you could be consuming. Frozen fruit isn’t quite as easy-to-use as frozen veggies, but it can work if fresh produce simply isn’t an option. 

Make the Most of Your Space

The other complicating factor for eating healthy in your RV is the space you have available. Your kitchen is pretty small in an RV, so you have to be smart. For starters, don’t keep anything in your fridge or pantry that is out of date – that’s just wasted food that is taking up valuable space. Also, try to cut down on packaging, as foods stored in bulk containers will take up less room than a bunch of individually packed items. 

Stay Busy

One last tip to keep you on the healthy track while traveling in an RV is to stay busy and fill your days with fun activities and adventures. Simply sitting around the RV staring at the walls is going to lead to unnecessary eating, and you won’t be burning many calories. Get out there and explore the world and your diet may become much easier to manage.
