It’s also a good idea to check the other batteries in your RV before going camping in cold weather. You’ll want to be sure you can heat your camper. 

Pack Emergency Supplies

Pack bottled water and non-perishable snacks just in case you get stuck in the snow or in a weather-related traffic jam. Include an ice scraper, road salt, cat litter for traction, and even a small snow shovel to get out of a tough spot.

One option is always to simply change your plans and stay home. It may not be worth the risk to head out on treacherous roads in an RV, especially on mountains and curvy roads. Trips can be postponed or shortened if necessary to avoid unpleasant weather.
